With the 2018 FIFA World Cup underway, Apple has added a few updates to make it easier to stay up to date on scores, teams and your favorite players.

Siri support now allows you to ask Siri questions about games, schedules and rosters.

For example, you can ask Siri questions like:

  • Who won the Portugal-Spain game?
  • When does France play Australia?
  • Who is on the Argentina squad?

For the duration of the tournament, the App Store editors will be updating the store with the top soccer apps and games so that users can immerse themselves in the World Cup. Browse through the “Featured” page to see what apps you can be using to stream games, track teams and players and get involved on social media.

If you are more interested in reading about the tournament, you can use your News App to view brackets, get updates and read articles about players and matches in the tournament. Apple Podcasts and iBooks will also feature World Cup content, each with a section entitled “The Beautiful Game” in which users can learn about the history of the game and hear some of the best stories from both on and off the field.

Apple Music is now featuring the top artists and songs from the 32 countries competing in the World Cup.

Last, but not least, Apple has added some fun animations to Clips. Liven up your videos by adding soccer-themed animated stickers, filters and text.
